Hello

I hear about the Canon Mark II having problems with sync on sound when mixed with say ex1..(Canon is 30fps and Video is 29.97)
Being that the Nikon D90 has 25 frames, does it stay in sync better in PAL mode?

Also, is the Canon Mark II PROGRESSIVE 1920 or Interlaced?
Cos if its interlaced then after a pulldown its pretty much the same resolution as the D90, isnt it?

Is the Nikon D90 Progressive or Interlaced?

Thanks.. Im chosing between both cameras..

Canon is progressive 30p. Nikon has the same drop frame sync problems since it's not 23.98, it's 24. But both those problems can be solved through post production, even compressor can make 24 playback as 23.98 and 30 play back as 29.97.

However 24p, drop or non drop, is much easier to convert to 25 or 50i than 30p.

okay.. i was just wondering why when i imported a Canon 5D mark II video file into Final Cut Pro, then looked at the properties of the video file it said 1080i i, for interlaced?
