I have been contemplating creating a television show (495,000+ households) to showcase short film talent, maybe even make a contest out of it. Is this something short filmmakers would be interested in? I know I would be, but is there enough interest and films out there to substantiate a weekly show? plese let me know your thoughts.

Sounds like a good idea

I have a couple short films that are collecting dust on my shelf. I entered them into a few short film contests and won a couple awards, but nothing more came of them except maybe practicing for a feature shoot. If you do proceed with airing films, let me know where I can send mine.
