Looking For Graphic (A Favor)

I know there was a related post sometime back but I can't locate it.....

Does anyone have a replication of the "Rated R" title card I could use? I'm looking just to put it on a trailer that I'm shooting. Not a real movie, not for profit, just for fun.

PM me or reply back if you can help out. I need it big for HD (1440X1080)

Thanks,
Scott

Keep in mind that since you haven't had your film rated by the MPAA (which costs bucks), then it's really not legitimate for you to use that 'Rated R' logo.

The "rated R" (and other ratings) are registered trademarks of the MPAA. You have to pay a hefty fee to get your film rated by them, which entitles you to use the corresponding image in your film. If the film hasn't been "rated" by the MPAA, then you can't say that "this film has been rated "R" or "PG" or whatever.

I understand how the MPAA works, I was just a bit miffed that Deepfocus would be questioned for putting a fake rating on a fake trailer he's making for fun.
I shall inform all my brides that their wedding trailers are not actually rated by the MPAA, and that they are not approved for all audiences.:)

No matter what it's for -- even for 'fun' -- it's still a copyrighted piece, and is protected the same as any other photo, graphic, piece of music, or anything else.

If he doesn't care about that, that's his business. But it's important that he be aware of it.
