editing DVX100 footage, 24PA

Hey guys, my friend shot a short film in 24pA and I'm editing it with Premiere Pro CS3.

Now, one of my project settings options is "Dv 24p, for footage shot in 24p or 24pA". It is also said to use "progressive rendering"

So this means that pulldown is auotomatically removed upon capture right?

For premiere users out there, do I have to manually remove pulldown after capture or is it automatic? And will premiere differentiate between 24p and 24pA when removing pulldown?

premiere automatically removes it...just drag and drop ur 24pa footage to the 24p timeline

It works the same for both 24p and 24pA. Just put the clip in a 24p timeline.
