MPG IMX525 files

[jrmiller_entertainment]

anyone know if the MPG IMX 525 codec has the same trouble playing on windows as apple's dvcproHD codec? A file was cut in FCP and compressed with Compressor then sent through an FTP site to me. I'm having trouble playing it with AE CS3 and Avid Newscutter....both using windows xp.

I get the audio but only a white screen.
Thanks.

Try playing it in Quicktime player first, if it shows up white there its not your Avid.
