I'm still trying to learn how to make those damn custom buttons function properly and I'm a long way from making something really cool...

the templates in Dvd Studio Pro are cool but there arent enough 'cool' ones that I can use for my music video clients...

can't find more than 3 free templates after googling the **** out of 'dvd studio pro templates'..

but it crossed my mind that some of you guys probably have custom dvd menu templates that kick serious ass.... would anyone like to share? I would love to add to my collection, plus I could take your template and edit it and adjust it to be more suited to my needs if necessary and I find that the best way to learn..

Anybody???? *bats eyelashes* hahahha jk....

Haven't seen any free one's but there are some sets you can buy if you look around a bit. Truth be told I typically make a new one for each project because templates are kinda obvious as templates.

yeah i want to make custom ones but i'm just finding it a bit difficult and time consuming... not to sound lazy (yes you are!) ok whatever... i'm not a photoshop whiz and i spent an entire day trying to make images with enough layers for the three different selected button options (normal, highlighted, active, whatever) and i couldnt get it to friggin work properly..

i found 2 free templates, and one i couldnt get to work...

i just would love to see some of your custom templates noah. c'mon.. hook me up?

please?

Just ordered a little peace of mind from Noah in hopes that soon I can make all those buttons connect in DVD Studio Pro.
I will let you know what I learn and maybe I can share some of my own custom templates....

well i've been messing around with it all day.. starting to get a better understanding.. but what really gets me is how difficult it is to drop pictures on top of my background image in the menu... i took a template and customized it to my liking, but now i want to add things such as my logo in the bottom right corner, but it always adds it with a white background instead of transparent like the actual file is... i've tried .psd's, .pdf's, ai's, gif, jpgs, etc. i make a drop zone, import the picture, drop the picture into the drop zone, and my transparent back is gone and now white...

arrrgggg... i probably shouldnt be writing this at 2 am but if anyone can help me with that one thing.. i'd sure appreciate it!

well i dont know how to make an alpha channel but luckily i figured out another way... i added the pictures to my background image in photoshop and then just replaced it. but thanks!

still looking for more cool templates
