After a good run with my loyal FS-100, I've finally decided it's time to switch to P2. Lucky for you I'm selling my newly refurbished FireStore (still in the manufacturers box!) for just $1700. This includes the FS-100 unit, battery, and the right-angle FireWire cable I've had the most luck with.

This unit served me well through a feature shoot and a handful of shorts, with only a few connection problems caused by the stock FireWire cable. It was recently repaired by Focus Enhancements with a brand-new board, so it should be good to go for a long time to come.

Please e-mail me at rythom@gmail.com if you're interested in the drive!

you should post this up in the marketplace. but honestly, its going to be real hard to get $1700 for it. i sold mine for $900(actually i traded for a used letus) but with a lot of xtra goodies and batteries.

Wow, yeah like manglerBMX said, I will be amazed if you get that, I have mine in the marketplace right now for a lot less with lots of accessories and no takers so far, actually mine is going for about what manglerBMX got for his. Good luck Ryan.

Why are the prices for the firestore units dropping?

Is it because Focus Enhancements filed for bankruptcy back in September 2008 or because of the current economy (or both)?

Just interested, that's all, as I was looking at getting one shortly.
