Nikon User Thread

I actually went for a little drive looking for a look out on Lookout Mountain Road, I am guessing that is where the top panorama was taken from. Was the second one taken from the look out on Muholland Dr?

I like the colors on that one Andrew

Did you use a flash? I'd love to see the original too. It has a very cool feel to it. I also liked it a lot.

Thanks all, it was a 3 exposure HDR with a fair bit of photoshop.

And yup, it was the Grand Canyon. The same place I took this one:

Here is one of the exposures.

Processed using Photomatix Pro and then Photoshop.

I know that the lines on this photo are very left and right. Can't really help that as I didn't want to spend much time getting this photo nor did or know how to do it in photoshop. So enjoy the photo without looking the lines.

Happy accident(?)... I wanted silky water when I was shooting the photo but it didn't really pan out. I tried to emulate it with blurs and blend modes but ended up with the water looking more mercuric than silky. Something different I guess.

Was shooting something across the highway, turned around to get back in my car and saw this just behind me. Completely didn't see it before that point!

do you like your D90? Thinking about getting one..... the video is so so on it. Just like it cause it shoots same quality (pretty much) for a lot less $$$. Already have lenses so just the body is pretty cheap now.
