SAMSUNG monitor question

Okay, so i need a new monitor for my editing set up. I was looking at this monitor and noticed it had HD inputs. Obviously this isn't ideal to move around from location to location, but would i be able to hook my HPX170 up to this to use as an in studio monitor or to lets say watch end of the day rushes in hd? Thanks.

there are a number of consumer monitors that make DECENT field monitors. i cant speak personally for the one you mention, but i have a sharp LC19SK24U that works reasonably well...

keep in mind, these are NOWHERE near a proper HD field monitor like a panasonic BT-LH1700W. but at 1/10 the price - they work just fine for framing and focus.
