ok. So I think I will be selling my Sony HVR-Z7U camcorder. I bought it brand new from BH in july, and have only used it about 15 hours. Everything is in great condition, still looks brand new. I love the camera a lot, and hate to see it go, but I dont need it right now. Heres what it comes with

1.Sony HVR-Z7U
- Comes with everything that came in the box, I still have original box/packaging
- YES. this does include the CF card recorder

2. 4 BIG Sony batteries, 1 small battery

3. 1 16gb sandisk CF card ( 75 minutes of HD or SD VIDEO! )




I bought everything brand new for $6100. I want to sell for $5800 + shipping

If anyone is interested let me know! and I can post pictures upon request. If you have any questions as well let me know. I accept paypal, or cash in person, I live in Pennsylvania!!!

$5800 plus shipping.. comes with a ton of awesome ****, guys! =] $700 worth of extras!

The batteries are the F970 batteries, and 1 of the stock smaller battery that came with the camera
 
i hate to price police you, but you can get a new one cheaper, not to mention
the EX1 at the top of this board for 5K. the price of used gear is dropping
unbelievably, everywhere. Photography gear is plummeting. There are
some great deals to be had out there.
 
I did see that you can buy a demo camera from the site for pretty cheap.. But this is like the real deal, comes with 16GB cf cards, and 5 batteries.. Thats why I was pricing it at $5800

But I will see

I may be up for buying your camera... It sounds ideal.
I'm waiting to hear about a show and then may make the move..

Would have to get the price down though.

I was thinking it would have to be around $3600 - $4000 to be worth buying as a used package.
b and H is selling them new for 4899. (about 650 more for 4 batts and a card)
that's 5550 for a new package - I multiply that by 65-70% and got a retail used gear package price... also 2 batts are really all I need...

Well thing is I need to get $5800 for it for now.. But a little more down the road I could let it go for a little cheaper, I am not sure on your time frame and what now..But let me know when you ear about the show coming up

The way I see it, I see the non demo version on BHphoto... and its for $5000.. + 4 batteries are another $500 to that making it $5500. Then add for 2 16 gb cards that cost $350 for both together.... - how much work was put on the cameras, which is about 25 hours of using the camera...

I could sell for $5500 at the cheapest later down the road.. Maybe I will just wait it out for a little bit.

Hey Cory, if you can get that level of depreciation, go for it. It's been 6 months, prices drop, etc..

all I really need is 2 batts, so I can get a new package for $5150 with free shipping, and get a 8 gig card for free with Sony's rebate. Also, you have only 1 card listed in your inventory above... There needs to be incentive on the financial end to buy even lightly used gear.
