Can open my .mxf files in Vegas, but can't in FCP

I wonder if anyone can help me. I've been shooting on EX1 for last 8 months now and always was using Sony Vegas to edit. I was using XD CAM ClipBrowser on my PC to export the raw footage using export option "MXF for NLE", everything was fine. So all my footage kept in .mxf
Now I bought Macbook Pro and want to start editing using only Final Cut Pro. The problem I have - I can't open my .mxf files that were exported in PC. I can't import them into FCP. I can only open them with XDCAM Transfer, but not EX Clip Browser

Does enyone know any solution for such a problem?

PS: I use Mac os X 10.5.6, Final Cut Pro 6.0.5, XD CAM Clip Browser v.2

With XDCAM Transfer you can convert them to quicktime-files compatible with FCP. That's the only purpose of XDCAM Transfer.

Thanks, guys! I pushed it to work with XDCAM Transfer, but still for me it's a mystery why it's a bit complicated in a first run. Have to learn some new stuff.

My workflow:
1. Plug in the camera in a usb-port of your Mac.
2. Import the clips with XDCAM Transfer.
3. done!
it's not possible to make it easier.
