Big thanks to spec-comm. They sent out an email blast saying they had some demos and Bstocks and I just got the Hpx170 for $4895. Full warranty and all accessories for a few bucks less.

I am really excited. Upgrading from DVX100B.

BSTOCK P2 has been used. Usually an in house demo or trade show. They have been checked over by spec comm techs but basically they have been lightly used.

I'll match that demo at $4895 price. All original packaging. Double boxed and shipped for $35.

I got an email from Media Concepts on the 23rd showing a 170 B-stock unit for $4595, don't know if it's still available.

bstock 30 day warranty

bstock 30 day warranty

$4595 seems a bit steep for bstock from Panasonic.

Panasonic bstock has only a 30 day warranty and Panasonic really does track the serial numbers.

$4595 is a good price on a dealer demo with the full warranty, 16 gig card, and accessories.

Check with your dealer to verify the warranty before purchasing. Most of the bstock products that we get from Panasonic come with a sticker stating the warranty.

Good points, Terry. If there is not a normal factory warranty with the 5 year upgrade option, no 16Gb card, it's not a good deal.

Strange how Sony B-stock products have the same warranty as new, at least their broadcast gear, but not Panasonic.
