Golden globes

If I had a nickel for every time I heard of a guy accidentally ODing on illegally-acquired drugs and then dying because of it...

I'd have 5¢.

I agree that it was a memorable performance. Just wishing Hollywood would take responsibility...

Dude - don't be a f**king ass. The guy had a family. Those medications can really do a number on people. So everyone that dies from a medication mix automatically is damned? Hollywood doesn't have to take responsibility. You need to not be so closed minded and stupid.

A lot of people in this world have issues. Even if he was a suicide - saying something like that offends everyone who has lost someone due to it - or has been through the thought process themselves, or has seen a friend cope with it.

Depression can hit anyone and suicide happens. No one wants to commit suicide - they just have no where else to go. And the pain is too much. Trust me - I've been there. To say someone isn't deservant of the life the led if they commit suicide is part of the reason people end up in those positions. From hearing **** like that from people like you. Degrading them to a point where they don't feel as if they deserve to be here.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Ledger getting nominated is like keeping OJ in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Don't understand why we glorify suicide.

so should we not recognize the talent of van gogh as an artist or hemingway as a writer? giving credit for their performance does not mean you glorify suicide.
