Hmm...I wonder if the makers of 35mm adapters are starting to get worried with all the new advances made by Canon and Nikon...and possibly the Red Scarlet.

Savings like these? Something seems wrong!

I think the writing is on the wall....

I think this is due to the mystery thread about a new redrock adapter that might or might not be coming out. they don't have much to worry about....yet....

Adapters are hell.. I hated using them.

Actually I threw an M2 on an EX3 the other day and the image actually looked nice, kind of hazy and dreamy.
It's better to not HAVE to use them if you can...

Redrock looks like it is trying to get rid of the old and come in with the new. Half off is one hell of a deal. they are good adapters in capable hands.

I don't think it has anything to do with DSLR cameras at all. The footage I have seen has been less than stellar IMHO.

I doubt they are worried about the scarlet either. No one knows when or if it will ever come out and how good it will be if it does.

Just my 2

and even long after scarlet has come out, people will still need adapters.

but yeah, knowing they can produce great images, I'd rather not use them.
