...Transcend has released a new 32Gig. expresscard that fits directly in the camera slots and I wonder if anyone has tried to use them in the EX-x Carmeras!. I was thinking of buying one to tryout, let me know! -- Carl

So you've tried the 32GB Transcend expresscard?

Others have reported that it does NOT work with 1.11 software as well as their 16GB version.

Hard to believe, SteveT, since the the SD memory works so well from Transcend! But I'll have to take your word for it. But how could the Lexar expresscard work and the Transcend express NOT? Is it just a matter of speed or can't the EX-x cameras not see the memory card.? What a bummer! -- Carl

I thought that the Lexar Express34 8GB card was working for me, but it can error out at any time, giving the "restore the media" message.

I've seen it recorded for 20 minutes straight, but not always.

Not recommended.

I concur. The problem I've had with the Lexar 8GB is when you do a lot of start-stop. It will error then. If you just record continuously, it seems t work fine. Kinda useless. I have 4 of them and will just use to copy BPAV folders and hand over to clients, and other non-critical storage.

Suprisingly, the Lexar 4Gig. express card is super fast, faster than the SDHC memory II card from Sandisk, but it only records 13min. on HQ. -- Carl

Seriously, as anyone out there actually tried the Transcend 32Gig. expresscard for sure; i know that the 16gig was questionable, but i would like to contact some body that actually tried one in thier Ex-x camera before i order one to test. --- Carl
