How long to reformat SXS and Filenames

Hello,
I have two questions for all you PMW-EX(x) users. Let's assume I have two 16GB SXS cards. I put it in, assign my filename structure as CAM1, with 0001 as the start. So I'm recording and my first clipname is CAM0001, then others go CAM10002, CAM10003, etc...

What happens if I take the card out, and put a new card in, hit record. Will the NEXT filename be 0004? Or will it go to 0001?

Second question: How long does it take to reformat an SXS card in the camera itself.

Thanks
Asaf.

I will just continue to CAM10004, unless you change Clip info in menu. And to format the card, it only takes (if its full) 10 seconds or less.

and when i.....

and when i.....

.......reformat the card, will it go back to 0001 again?
Asaf.

As far as I know, it goes like this:

The clip numbering system is in the camera, not the card.

It numbers clips from 0001 onwards, regardless of what card is in the camera, formatting, or the like.
It only resets if you reset the camera or if it reaches clip 9999.

Which is why you should set the user bit information to CamA or the like to keep your clips named as you want them.
