B&H Price on EX1 Drops $200

A 'mom and pop' store couldn't buy EX1s from Sony anyway. You have to meet certain qualifications to be a professional broadcast reseller.

A 'mom & pop' could buy gray-market and sell those, but then Sony would have no recourse against them because they wouldn't be an authorized reseller in the first place.
 
I live in canada and am expecting anxiously from the arrival of my ex1 that I bought in vistek. vistek is the most big store of video and photography in canada, some called "the Canadian B&H". The camera costs 6.999C$ without taxes, which on the rate of conversion of today (0.8102) there meets a whole of 5,670.59us$ and they do not apply taxes for USA shipping. I am not sure if you need to pay some tax for import to USA.

Problems might come with warranty repairs. US residents might have to ship to a Sony location in Canada to get their cameras fixed. But, otherwise - it looks like an awesome deal!
