preset white balance on hpx500

Hi!

I have read on this forum that panasonic is working on a solution to deal with the problem of preset white balance being yellow - green. Anyone know anything about this?
Will there be a upgrade for this soon?

It has existed for a while now, I just had mine done last week, but I believe it has been available for about 3-4 months, takes about two days + shipping (has to go to New Jersey in the US)...
 
Hey Roger,

Yes the fix is available. If you only have a CAC lens then you don't need it. Panasonic can turn it around pretty fast.

Ok so I called panasonic heer in Norway, and they had never heard about this problem, strangely, but they told me it should be no problem to fix it.

No problem if your camera has the "right" card, if not to change the card will cost you 2000euro! In March my first HPX500 had the "wrong" card, in August my 2nd has the "right" one. Here in Turkey they can load a different sofware to my 2nd camera but not to my 1st one. It has nothing to do with the waranty i was told, a note from Panasonic notify it. Turkey is attached to Germany. My 2 cameras have different 5600 k preset!
