No more than 99 chapters per DVD?

I know this goes in the "General Software" forum, but this is a pretty time sensitive project so I'm hoping the mods allow it for at least a little while before moving it.

I have 104 video files to burn on a DVD. They're short clips, about 10-20 seconds in length and then the 5 that are causing the limit to be exceeded are around 5 minutes in length. I've never burned a DVD with this many videos before and didn't think there would be a limit...apparently there is.

I tried using both iDVD and DVD Studio Pro and I'm getting the same error message. Through some Google searching, I found that it has something to do with DVD players going past double digits. I'm not sure what to do, because all these files need to be on here.

Now, there is what I think could be a workaround. There are a couple video clips that are almost the same (different setting with different people), but essentially the same exercise. If I could find 5 like that and the client gives the okay, I'll be alright to get all the files on there.

I don't want to go to the client yet (because I had agreed originally that this was doable without having heard of this 99 file limit), without consulting you guys. Has anyone had experience with this and is there ANY way past this limit on a mac?

Thanks,

Kegan

I think that is what he is going to ask the client about.

As far as I know there is no way to have more than 99.

Thanks for the replies. Making a second DVD isn't an option when 6000 of them are being made.

Can't combine them - they're looking for individual selection. Its 100 different exercises and combining them wouldn't work. I've found a few duplicates - enough to make the 99 limit cut. I think that's what I'm going to have to do.

Thanks again,

Kegan
