TwilightFest Bugs - Report Here

That's a connectivity issue, unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that from my end. You might try and wait until later and see if you hit a time when your net access is not as taxed.

Sadly it's also a provider issue. I pay for the best and get crap 20 days out of 30, and with zero recourse.

I'll try again at 3 am and see if that works.

I'm still trying to get this working, I donwloaded the first entry 2 times none finished. then I tried with the first zip, but same happened......

Hi. I'm having trouble viewing the Twilightfest films. As you can see, I'm logged in because I am able to post this message. Strangely, when I click the link to view the films, it tells me I need to login and then says my login info is incorrect. Any ideas? Can I have my password resent?

Thanks. I'm dying to see these films :)

hi I log in with the user name you gave me but when i download the film to my cpu then go to watch them in quicktime the video lags so much. Like the sound flows smoothly but the video stays on one from for an extended period of time and then switches slowly

When I went to the zip files, the downloads started fine, but I attempted to use the "right-click here to download" link, and it didn't download the zip file. They're linked to mirrors of all the movies, rather than just one zip file. This happened with the first and second .zip file, I'm about to try others.

Again, the automatic download worked fine for me, and I'm downloading now. I was just going to use the "right click here" to tell Firefox where to save them, and I noticed the links weren't working as they're intended.

Ok, that's an issue related only to the zips ... I'll have to look into it. For now avoid using the "right-click and save as" option on the zips. If you click on an entry in the list it should refresh the page and then attempt to download.

If nothing happens after 5 seconds look at your browser's activity indicator ... some networks download the content before displaying the "Save as" dialog box (that's how it works for me here at work). So it takes however long the zip download would be before I see the dialog box to save it somewhere.

It's working fine for me, Firefox let's me save it immediately. I was just giving you the heads-up that the "right click here" links were pointing to the mirror servers and not individual zip files. (and I did check all of them, they're all that way)

I see two zip files that are numbered #7. I downloaded the first and it appears to be corrupted. Downloading the second now.

The films have all been downloaded and verified by various members. So the files on the servers are ok.

If you have problems with specific films, you might try re-downloading them as your connection may have prevented a complete file transfer.

If it's all the films, then it's a resource issue on your computer (memory) ... if you are viewing through quicktime, then you might want to check out the free VLC player which sometimes has better success.

Sorry I can't be more help.

They actually were set to download the same file, so it should have worked ok (I just got a little cut/paste happy in my code :) ).

I cleaned up the second #7 entry and changed the code to query the server for the file size of each mirror so it will be the accurate number, rather than my quick estimate when scanning the web directory.

Let me know if your second attempt to download #7 is still corrupted.

11:00 NY time and I have yet to download one film. Not true, I managed to get Closure downloaded, saw 10 seconds of it and my system crashed. Took some word doc with it.

I'm really having a shi*ty day here.

EDIT; Went and got another computer. Now I can download.
