Is this price for EX1 legit?

Why don't you buy it and see what happens?

I guarentee it will come without a battery, and they won't let you buy the camera withoout one. Battery price? $5,000.

Don't touch this with a 10 foot barge pole.

Yes, this price is legit or yes this price sounds too good to be true? I believed its the latter answer. I forgot there is a link somewhere that links to a website that I can search for various website to see if they're operating legit or not.

I aleady got mine...just wondering if EX1 already has dropped to that price level. Everywhere I've checked it's still around $5,000 to $7,000.

We've gone through this one dozens of times with every camera on the market.

Sony sets a Minimum US Price on the EX-1 at $6449. That's the price.
