Eyes Set to Kill Music Video: Darling

eh, not bad : )
but it seems like a pretty blatant copy of early reznor/manson stuff right down to the bug macro and missing scene stuff.

and is it me or are about 80% of the performance shots shot from the left? was that an issue of room dimension?

Whatever the influences it was solid.

Around the last 1/3 something
seemed to take me out of the mood.
Not sure, but something..........

Loved the x's around the eyes
and shaky "lies" stuff.

And yes, the girl was solid.

I loved the look and the x's over the eyes. A little too much screaming for me, but solid video! Great job!

We mostly used photoshop, exported an image sequence then went in frame by frame and used a wacom tablet to draw over the image, then used quicktime to conform the images into .movs and re-imported and composited in FCP. For the words I did the same process and used Motion to motion-track them to the talent. Very tedious but came out lookin ok!

thanks guys!

Hey ColorFactory. We used the Letus Extreme with Nikon still lenses: 24mm, 50mm, 85mm and a lensbaby for a few of the closer shots. As a far as programs used we utilized Final Cut, Photoshop and Motion. Hope this helps!

Ha,
you where the ones who did the Eyes Set To Kill video!
I was looking for this and couldn´t remember who was behind it.
Again a great video, totally fitted and enhanced the mood of the (IMHO boring) music!
Awesome piece of work!

Looks great, awesome feel and editing.

Another huge influence I saw on this video was one of my personal favorite videos "I'll Attack" by 30 Seconds to Mars with the scratches. It is a great effect but I feel like it was almost too closely replicated for this video.
