TwilightFest 2008 - Submission Status

Is the any way to check the file name of the version we sent in? Idk why but I always get nervous and OCD about this sort of thing after-the-fact. Thanks!

Congrats to everyone who got their films in on time-- its gonna be a blast watching them all!
 
No, because my upload script renames the file to a consistent format based on the field data (specifically film title and dvx user name). So whatever you named it previously it is no longer that name.

darn. Too bad... well i'll just have to trust that i uploaded the right file. Thanks for the quick reply!
 
How does the system work? We submit the films, is there a polling place for those who have over 50 posts? How does the grading system work? Sorry for all the questions.
 
The list in the first post is the final list. All valid entries were added to the list.

The start of viewing is predicated on a number of factors, not the least of which includes downloading every entry and watching to ensure it is within the total running time, that it includes the required element, that it meets the theme and that it does not violate any of the rules.

We will, as always, work as quickly as possible to get this step completed, but there are also some other maintenance steps that must be completed as well. We appreciate your patience, and fully understand your anxiety to see the entries. Just keep an eye on the forum and we'll post as soon as they are ready to view.

Once the films are ready we will post a link to the viewing/voting page. If you have 50+ posts and/or submitted a film in this fest you will see the films listed and a 10 star rater next to each entry. You click the film title to download it, then after you watch it you select the rating you wish to apply to that film between 1 and 10 (where 1 means it was the worst film you ever saw, it couldn't get any worse and 10 means it was the best film you ever saw, it couldn't get any better).

If you did not submit a film and you do not have at least 50 posts you will still see the list of films and be able to download/watch them, but you will not have the option to vote.

I originally thought Halloween but Devil's Night would be cool as well. :beer:

Seriously though, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we know you guys are busting your asses to get this Fest up and running. Much appreciated.
