I just bought my hpx and now I need to know what Lenses work best with the M2 RedRockMicro system. I have the NIKON adapter, so only NIKON lenses, PLEASE help me out and let me know what you think.

Thank you

Brian,

Thank you very much. Also a friend of mine fell in love with my hpx and is telling me that buying it from BH photo was a mistake, that he knows some dude in ukrane or something that is selling his for hvx200 for like 900 dollars with 2 16gb cards and some focus rigs and batteries and all. And that guy is selling it though square trade or something like that. What do you think Brian?

lol - "some dude from the ukraine selling his hvx200 for 900 dollars" - If you don't like your money and want to get rid of it, send it to this guy! Seriously, BHPhoto is a reputable dealer, and the price is fair. I can't tell you the number of scams I've heard where people lost their $$ or got a substandard/ grey market camera. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

Thank you Brian, you prob saved my buddy from a crap crime, as soon as i copy and pasted to him he said OK i wont.. hehe. Also does anyone know where I can find cheap matteboxes?

I've found that card board matteboxes can be useful if used properly. If you don't plan on using any filters right off the bat and only want light control... go with card board. Lots of people on the boards here have the Redrock, Petroff, or others. What's your price range? That can help us help you out better.

well thanks Jstunzi,

I have to say my range is 160 or less for a mattebox right now. Eventually I want to get a awesome one, but I dont know, I need one right now. Also is there any websites dedicated on like teaching filmmakers how to make your own rigs?

Thank you all!

There's several tutorials out and about. Not a website completely dedicated. I dunno what you're going to find for $160. Are you going to do a lot of shooting outside or something?
