Canon D5 Mark II Zacuto DSLR setups.

Just what the title says guys... Zacuto is launching DSLR setups next week. Be on the lookout for these kits from Zacuto and other manufacturers like Redrock micro within the coming weeks.

Here's some eye candy:

In case you're wondering... her name is Jennifer!

Do you like the $$$$$$$$$$ rigs for $$ dollar cameras or the skinny girls with the midriffs?

What's the point of all these pics?

What is up with the girls in all of the Zacuto pics?

The homepage is just weird with the girls twirling around with the cameras...

I think the purpose of it is to show that these rigs can be used by anyone and that they're truly universal. Numerous companies have used models for years! In fact, I remember seeing two girls jumping around in blue jumpsuits sporting motion capture balls at NAB last April that qas quite amusing.

PadawanGeek, would you rather see a dude pictured?

I would rather see the people that actually would use them in real life. The random geeks like us.

Though I guess I would rather see female models than male models.

Zacuto does feature user photos on their Zenfolio site. It's called "Zacuto in the World" and can be found here. There's a "cornucopia" ... pardon my assorted word choice ... of pictures to look at!

That's not even close to the point of it.

I am all for Zacuto having their fun.

That's good and all.

I am just saying that it's also nice to have their stuff stand alone.

My only concern with this rig is price.

trust me, you would rather see these girls than me modeling the gear!!

The funny thing is I thought they were all DVXuser members. You mean the skinny blonde one ISN'T Barry Green?!!?!

yeah, why DIDN'T Zacuto hire me , I could have modeled these new rigs in swimwear or something. I just can't understand their decision :crybaby:

wow!

I think it's just because of the massive amount of defurring you would need.

I couldn't imagine how much wax and hair pulling cloth you would go through.

On the other hand, you could always die it blue and just call it a sweater!
