bump overload!!! But one for the road. This battery kicks ass. I use it with my HVX and the little extra weight is like gold. Also, you could shoot low angle shots with confidence when the battery is touching the ground and not your baby. Somebody take this off dffioritos hands.

no you can im pretty sure, there is a 1/4 on top, and a receiving whole on the bottom. so you would put it in between the rod support and the tripod i believe...could be wrong.
 
Battery works great with an adapter/rails system.

You can even gaff the battery to the back of the rails to help offset the front loaded weight of the adapter.
 
Ok, I bought the unit so now I get to figure out how to get it work with my SGPro kit I bought from another DVX user.. fun times. Being a noob I'll have questions - but even if I can't get it to work I can still use the battery w/o the SGPro. I bought some DVXUser batteries as well to make sure I have lot's of juice on my shoots. Thanks for the reply.
