A new short film

that was great. but why only on youtube. this should be shown on tv or on the big screen. great acting. how much you paid for your actors?

Dude, great job. Looked very professional. And on the DVX to!

Your shots were fabulous, ad the acting helped make this piece sell even more. That blake guy did an excellent job.

My only concern was the lighting a about 3:55 of the two talking. Lighting looked harsh, especially on the girl.

Sound was wicked as well, what did you use for mics?

Thanks for sharing,

Robbie

One of the best pieces of work i have seen on the DVXUSER.

What was you scene setting and lighting setup like?

Keep up the good work,

thanks for watching

thanks for watching

Hey guys. I really appreciate the feedback. I used stock scene file settings. I created the look I wanted in post (crunched blacks, etc.) I used (3) Lowel 1000w, (3) Lowel 500w, (2) Lowel 250's. We used a fairly cheap AZDEN shotgun mic, and 2 Seinnheiser Lavs. Thank God for a sound engineer/designer who worked for free. The actors worked for free. We built the bunker for $2000 using Home Depot stuff. We managed to return $1,850 worth of material.

We put it on Youtube because, sadly, YOUTUBE, beats the competition in viewership. I love VIMEO and VEOH for quality, but when it comes to making films, the most important thing is getting it seen.
