Selling my 17" MacBook Pro. I received this MacBook Pro as a replacement from Apple in June. It has been really reliable since I've got it. It has a small dent beside the latch on the front, it is barely noticeable, and purely cosmetic. There is also a small scratch on the lid, half way between the Apple logo and the left side. The screen is in perfect condition, as is the rest of the MacBook Pro.

The specs are;
17" Matte 1920x1200 Display
2.6 GHz with 6MB L2 Cache
4GB Ram
200GB 7200RPM Drive
512MB of Video Ram
Multi Touch Trackpad
Builtin iSight Camera
Genuine Apple Battery

And it has the AppleCare Extended Warranty until August 2010.

A new MacBook Pro with comparable specs from Apple would cost about $3600 without taxes!

I will also be including the following accessories:
2x FastMac Batteries (Valued at $99.95/each)
1x Incase 17" Nylon Sleeve Plus (Valued at $59.95)
1x WaterField Designs SleeveCase with Flap, Shoulder Strap and "Piggyback" (Valued at $100)
1x Belkin Expresscard Media Reader (Valued at $29.99)
1x New, unopened Invisible Shield for the Trackpad, Hand Rests and Trackpad Button (Valued at $19.95)
2x KBCovers, One for Photoshop, and One Clear one. (Valued at $29.95 and $24.95)

Accessories Valued at over $450.

Total Value is just over $4000.

The first photo shows all of the items that are included (the Belkin card reader is in the Expresscard slot). The second photo shows the barely notable scratch, and the third photo shows the screen.

I will do a fresh install of Mac OS X Leopard before I sell. I can included the original box if requested.

I would like to sell it locally, in Toronto or surrounding area. Please send me a PM if you have any questions.

This could be an odd question...but how did you get apple to replace your computer? Mine has problem after problem and they just keep "fixing it"
Also, nice setup, great for video editing someone should grab this!

The original one had some big issues with it, so after hours of time at the "Genius Bar", Apple agreed to replace it.

This specific MacBook Pro has had no issues, and continues to function perfectly.

is this the new macbook pro that's on the mac site, or is it the model before that release?

thanks,

JM

its still the same as on the site...
since they updated the 15" and not the 17" yet, but give it time. the 17" will be baller as all heck

Hey guys I can vouch for Jordan, he's a great guy. Feel safe buying his mbp!
Thanks Man.

This MacBook Pro only differs from the current one on Apple's site in one way, the hard drive in the new one is a 320GB 5400RPM, this is a 200GB 7200RPM.

Heads up... This laptop, brand new, without all the accessories and the additional 2GB of Ram goes for $3,144 at MacMall. You are going to have to take a low bid to sell it. Somewhere near the $2500.00 price point.

Keep in mind that right now $2800 Canadian dollars = $2370.27 U.S. dollars.

I'm showing it locally to someone today.
