Recommend me a hard case for my audio gear

Ok , i recent acquired a hand me down audio kit. Ive got myself a azden shotgun mic of about 17 inches long plus the 1 foot XLR which can be curled up. I also have a sennheiser g2 wireless set. Last but not least i have a Sony ecm 44 b lavaliere in its leather pouch.

I want to put all of these in a nice case. All my gear is Porta brace BUT im not happy with their selection of hard cases. They are all entirely too thick. I dont need a huge camera case just for this stuff. I want a small brief case style case but Im not familiar with the quality of some of the stuff im seeing. Im thinking of using this as an excuse to buy myself a Porta equipment bag that will double as "random stuff bag" but want to keep searching. If anybody has any recommendations to what has been reliable for them i would greatly appreciate knowing your experience with it.

I'd sell the Azden and the ECM-44b and use that money to buy a better short shotgun.

Pelican and Storm (Hardigg) both have slim cases that might do what you want. Both are built to withstand just about anything...

We offer special pricing for DVX and REDUser members. The full line of Hardigg Storm cases is on my website.

I use a Pelican 1560 case.
I step on it, rain on it, even a dog... no no I kicked him away !!
Very solid, plane travel tested a few time, always in shape.
Got wheels and lifetime warranty
And I like it's Orange color :o)
Check it out in store near you.
