ALL NARRATIVE MUSIC VIDEO!! HVX200 + LetusEX

Hey nice work man! I loved the look to it! Question, how did you do the film effects, was that in after effects? I want to play with that technique and figured it was overlaying that film layer and playing with the opacity.

Wow man that was amazing! I noticed that the whole video was shot at a high frame rate. What frame rates did you shoot at? And it was played back at 24p right?

The film effects were stock footage from art beats... You put them over the video with an add blending mode... Yes 98% of the video was shot at 60p then converted to 24p for glossy slo-mo. Thanks guys!

Awesome job

This is one of the best MV's I've seen. Very original, awesome shots, color, edit ...

Dude, you kicked ass on this!

I feel like 99.9% of MV's are so played out with the same old tired concepts (bands in deserts for example) ...

This was wonderful. Intermittent shots of the band woul serve this well ...

But really ? With a change to the music (into a more dramatic score) and sound elements added (Foley, sound fx, ambient sounds) and you have a short film that would kill the competition.

Loved it !

wow, thanks JR... I appreciate the feedback... it's funny u say competition, cuz it was created for a music video competition, but the rules said we couldn't mess with the audio track... But I see what ur saying.

Wow that was fantastic! Bravo! SUPERB images!

The only thing I thought didn't really work was the old film scratches effect. Basically, your footage is so amazingly clear and sharp that my brain does not for a second believe in the somewhat cheesey canned old film effect. Perhaps if you used a better effect and applied it over the course of the entire clip but as it stands the effect you used looks fake, especially since the 'scratches' are almost pure white and definitely look 'graphicy' and not like real film scratches at all.

That is the only issue I can even touch on and it's a minor one. Your footage and story is spectacular. I mean I see a lot of footage and this grabbed me I felt maybe even a bit of a tear? Christ. Ok moving on.. GOOD WORK!

I would love to se a higher resolution version do you have a native 720p quicktime?

The world is my toy.

thats the first time I've seen those 2 videos... Cool videos, I guess they could be similar, obviously I don't have a band performance and the way it's shot is different from mine...
