Agreed. Not that I don't think this camera can produce something amazing, it's just that this guy sucks at shooting footage.

looks like that exposure jumps just as much as the d90 does.

That footage looks pretty damn amazing to me. It appears he's shooting handheld, and there isn't considerable camera-shake or wobble. I imagine he's using the 24-105 f/4 IS kit lens, perhaps with IS engaged. The dynamic range in all the shots is excellent, head and shoulders above my HV20. Highlight handling in the daylight sidewalk shots is astounding.
