not sure if this is a good thing or not?

This is a raw clip from ‘Night Forest’ (two cuts from the film put together). The look of the film seems to be different than what I have seen others do. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

But to answer a few questions that may be asked; No color correction has been done to the film footage. The music is not our, it is just something I put in just to give it a feel. The film was shot in New Zealand. We haven’t started our editing.

I think for a raw clip, it looks great, well beside the compression it looks great.

Also can´t see anything special with the footage, nice look from an overcast sky...

and the "reveal" would only make sense in a mystery flic, or where is she supposed to come from all o a sudden? But no one will ever ask this question in the end;o)

I don't particulary see a look that is much different or spectacular than anything else I've seen; not that it looks bad, it does not.

I did notice the cut goes against my understanding of the rules of visual langauge (crowd moans).

Dude exits screen right and then enters door from screen right throws me off as well as jumping way over the previous line.

Entertaining clip though; nice audio and sound.
