With this past weekend's success of FIREPROOF, which in final numbers did 6.8 million with a per screen average of over $8000... we're anxiously waiting to see what happens with "NGL"
 
Man I just watched the teaser trailer, looks really good, great actors and just all around looks great. Sweet job man! :) Im looking forward to the release.
 
I just saw the trailer for No Greater Love and I am really looking forward to the release of the film! Great Job! I know that it will be a blessing!

Michelle Tumes set to compose original score for faith-based romance

Coram Deo Studios has signed award winning contemporary Christian music artist Michelle Tumes to compose and perform the original score for its romantic feature film, NO GREATER LOVE. “Michelle’s music is not only sensational and beautiful, but her trademark style is simply the perfect fit for the film. We’re thrilled to have Michelle on board,” remarked the film’s director, Brad J. Silverman.

Tumes burst on the Christian music scene with her 1998 debut album, “Listen,” which she followed with two more chart-topping albums. In 2001, ASCAP named Tumes its Songwriter of the Year, and in 2004 Tumes teamed with Susan Ashton and Christine Dente to record the widely popular “Lost in Wonder: Voices of Worship”. More recently, Tumes teamed with her husband, Doug, to produce her fourth solo album.

Although Tumes still enjoys touring and performing live, she has had a growing interest in writing music for feature films. In addition to scoring NO GREATER LOVE, Tumes wrote “Fly To Your Heart,” which Pixar will feature in its upcoming animated movie, TINKER BELL.

Coram Deo Studios recently signed a master distribution agreement for NO GREATER LOVE with Carmel Entertainment Group, which has yet another surprise hit under its belt with Sherwood Picture’s newly released FIREPROOF.

UPDATE:

We're getting the first half hour of music tomorrow, and we'll be plugging it into the film... hopefully we'll be able to post a sample of the score online as well... it's sounding fantastic!
 
Probably won't see another trailer for the film until we get a theatrical trailer cut sometime down the road.
 
Any idea for the release date? The teaser looks great and it sounds like the ideal movie to watch with the girlfriend. Can't wait!
 
Brandon Dude, you need to be working on some deals while the fire is hot. Although if you do any television ads I think you should downplay the Christian angle. (Unless you're doing ads on Fox news which Sherwood did and even then they downplayed it). I think people would get the message of these films better if they didn't come in with guards up.

I don't know about the music as it doesn't do anything for me, but the story is an instant draw. I think you should speak on how you got the name talent in this thing. Use to watch Melrose Place and I know Quinn and he's got a fan base. Good casting from the night time soaps for a film like this. I don't know why people think it's so hard to get names. In your next project I want you to try for Patricia Heaton or some bigger names even. The acting looked good and I wasn't put off by any of it. Fireproof did have some cheese in the trailer but this looked pro all the way. Maybe you should try to get a TV deal versus a big screen deal. Can you imagine this on CBS or Lifetime or any of those stations. This looks like gold here. I want this and Fireproof when the DVDs come out.

Hey Brandon,

I checked out the score and the site & watched the trailer, and I applaud you on making a movie that attempts to explore the greater questions. Movies like this are hard, any mention of God sometimes steers those away who are not ready to discuss it, or explore it - as it looks like you have. I for one, and not in that category & welcome the discussion it looks like your film will bring about.

I'm looking forward to seeing this film, and it looks like it's life affirming as well as deeply thoughtful. Keep up the great, meaningful work you're doing.
