Nikon F Manual lens 50 and 85 MM for sale

Yes.

But he wanted to know what the open market price might be.

I would say:

Nikon 50mm f/1.4D AF $250

Nikon 85mm f/1.4 Nikkor AI-S Manual Focus Lens $750 - $800

As Always - Your Mileage May Very.

Those are great pics!

Are those yours or stock?

uh what's the speed?

A Nikon F 85mm f/1.8 can be bought $400 and that's brand new. I googled it.

By the way, why is an f/1.4 speed lens like $1000?? Is f/1.8 vs. f/1.4 that big a deal? and anyone know why people don't just buy zoom lenses instead of single prime lenses for 35mm adapters?

JM

yes it is a big deal ,speed costs,$$. even though best results would not be at the 1.4 the glass is much better when shooting at f2.
