Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles

You'd think they'd be smart enough to include some method for inflating inner sacs to enable them to function underwater. The planet is 2/3 water, after all. I'm just saying...

Sure did take that robot a long time to walk out of the water and onto the beach, didn't it?

If John had a phone with GPS. He could easily turn it off anyway. Plus. didn't the terminator destroy the cell tower. She wouldn't have had reception anyway.

Cameron's flaw for not being able to follow john correctly is because she's learning to much(she just doesn't understand why he would run) She's stupid. Her personality is actually developing. Remember Skynet is SELF-AWARE. So is Cameron. She is learning. (huge writing flaws with this)

Remember arnie says at the end of t2, "I know now, why you cry. It is something I could never do." That's because he's a MACHINE. He knows that, Cameron's programing in my opinion however is way more advanced than arnie's model.

and sickeningly I think there is a definite LOVE relationship between cameron and john. It's weird, but hey. I'd wanna bone Summer Glau's robot body and day of the week.

Okay so maybe to gross for you guys. But damn.. She's the only thing that keeps me tuned in probably.

Quite a bit was revealed. SPOILERS.

My synopsis

Yeah so apparently Cameron is a doppleganger of John's future love interest, Alison. Cameron kills Alison after learning the secret of getting into the rebel base. Cameron also revealed to Alison before killing her that not all the terminators were out to exterminate the humans and that's why she needed to find John. Was this a lie to manipulate Alison? At the end of the episode Cameron displays that she has learned (remembered how to?) to be deceptive when she mimicks the lie she got from the street girl about the necklace.

Not an utterly stupid episode like the nuclear plant, I give it a 4 of 5 as this series goes.

It's possible Cameron in the future didn't actually KILL Alison. That's alluded to at the end when we think she's killed the other girl in the same way, only to find out the girl is still alive.

I think Cameron has had the ability to be deceptive from the beginning -- since she was pretending to be just another high school girl in order to locate John.

To be honest, I preferred the first season -- where you knew who your friends were, and who the enemy was.

I, Mr. "this show sux ballz", once again totally dug this episode. I'm telling you, Summer Glau plays a shi*ty terminator (and the writers write a bad one as well), so when she abandons the robot talk the show immediately gets 10x better for me.

I also loved the open ended nature of it. Dealing with the nature of memories can be confusing enough, but from a robot? lol Obviously the robot has a record of everything it's experienced, but did you notice how a lot of what they showed was from Allison's perspective, often with Cameron not even present? Conclusive of nothing, but a super interesting choice which might have actual consequences. Also, she becomes upset and scared not knowing who she is, and cries when her mom doesn't acknowledge her! Explain that! Interesting 2 how she turns back into Cameron over a commercial break. 4 episodes ago I would have blamed it on shitty writing, but the questions are making it more compelling than ever (for me).

I loved the ending too. We see Cameron at her very best and very worst. She makes the choice to spare the girl's life, but only after choking her, making off with her necklace, and lying (LYING!) to John. I have no idea what it all means but I love the direction it's taking.

Of course, apparently what I find compelling and interesting, no one else does. Just when I find 2 episodes I actually enjoy, the ratings have dropped so much they're canceling the show. What do I know.

I thought the episode was great. I know there is at least 3 or 4 more episodes in the can. maybe they can tie it up with a 2 hour movie or something if it gets canceled. (depends on DVD sales) I was hoping it would at least last 3 seasons so we could have a beginning middle and end.

yeah i hoped for 3 season.

I just saw a promo for TSSC on Monday, but it is Fox, those cold-blooded SOB's could run a promo for the show at 6:57 CDT and still replace at 7:00... :D

I just viewed episode 5, online and wowsa... AWESOME episode! Excellent writing, well executed, emotionally moving. 4.5 of 5.

i thought it was alright. This second season is unquestionably superior to the first, but the last episode was uninteresting to me personally.

T4 comes out next year right? I thought this was supposed to play around with the history a little. Maybe not.
