Looking for a assistant to help out with a one day shot. Which will be held in Nov. If your good at filming and you want to add something to your resume and still learn at this seminar is a good opportunity, to get your name out there.
Must be good at filming with an cannon gl 2.

I did a job for her strictly for the money, and even that wasn't enough to keep me on board– I dropped her 3/4 of the way through. ( I got my money first) She really is that illiterate and nuts.
 
Craigslist hasn't brought me one decent prospect yet... only junk requests. I never go there anymore.
 
I got a job on Craiglist for a cable network that lasted 2 years -- full salary with benefits. I would probably still be there if I didn't keep getting deluged with freelance work...So you never know.
 
I still get a few gigs from craigslist... I'm just VERY picky and VERY good at weeding out people who are dumb or not paying decent rates.
 
You guys here I met someone who wanted to be my "slave?" ya, on craiglist!

Things to look out for--

deferred pay; you won't get paid, ever!

possible deferred pay; not only are we not paying, but we're not even entertaining the possibility.

must have thick skin; prepare to be abused in every possible manner

copy, credit & meals; you're lucky if we have water, we remember your name, or we ever get our master back from the lab

Award-winning producer; he had a film festival and gave himself the top award

A great way to gain experience; we want some idiot just out of film school who'll work for nothing and doesn't know any better.

I've done this before. I always feed cast and crew. Chicken, Pizza, Tacos, Chinese food, etc. Powerade also comes in handy as Jewel has sales on it sometimes.

"We are seeking a High Def Cameraman with either a High Def, 24p or RED camera, for a four hour shoot in October. The shooting location is Manchester, TN, about 40 minutes from Nashville. Compensation for the four hour shoot if $60.

It's awesome for housing and finding actors in Chicago. The listings in LA are massive.
