Cool spider pics. I should have taken some pictures of the Praying Mantis I spied last weekend when I was outside doing some yard work. He was even munching on a fat cricket which was almost as big as he was. I had thought about filming it, but it never entered my mind just to snap off a few pictures, darnit.

I think one of the reasons people don't take as many photos of insects is because it is much harder to get the quality at such a smaller scale. I know that is a problem I have run into, because I only have kit lenses at this point.

None the less, it is a great idea, and something I will be happy to join in.

I will join as well...Only if I had a 105mm Macro hmmm.....

Wow, Totolo. A street with no one on it in what it seems to be golden hour and completely silent in LA?!

Jon,
Holy Crap! Great composition and beautiful post processing with B&W.

Nice Jon. I love shots of half dome and the other stuff in Yosemite. I went there last when I was a teen, I took a lot of slide photos with my Minolta x700, but only having a 50mm 1.4 for that camera left me limited in composition. :D

It was about time to post something......now I have time so here they go

These were taken yesterday....I went for a walk an decided to take the camera
