Hey Kimko! Haven't been out to your neck of the woods in a while. I've been to less exciting places like Kansas City, Nashville and south Georgia. Fun, fun, fun, but it pays the bills.
How's things Mr. Cordless? ;)

Oh whoa. super cool! I just got a new Visa card... the Montecristo edition!
Those cards look pretty snazzy...I believe that they came with a sampler pack of various Altadis series.

Romeo Y Julieta Maduro Reserve...perfect for a nice fall afternoon in Central Park...
Damn, you're right - and I was never a huge fan of the Dominican Romeo (a bit too mild for my palate) But over the last couple of years, they have really impressed me with some of the new offerings...

...especially that Reserve Maduro you mentioned

next year i'll be going to the big event with my dad and a couple of friends. can't wait.
I will see you there, my grim reaping friend.

I like a good cigar too. Usually smoke Arturo Fuentes, any medium sized one like a Lonsdale, they're all decnt smokes. I also enjoy Punch Punches. The best I've had though, has to be a Cuban Cohiba... that was a great smoke!

Interesting thread, why no updates or other cigar threads in two years? I recently discovered the Ashton Cabinet...delicious! Especially after staying in my cedar humidor for a few months.

I'm partial to the diamond crown maximus' churchill's and Opus X's from fuente. Had a cudan Bolivar in Canada a few months ago and I'm hooked!

I am a light cigar smoker, myself. I enjoy Macanudos. They have a smooth draw/taste throughout. I don't like a real peppery cigar, or one that is too heady.

I like la gloria cubana reservas. so good. i don't remember the specific type though, there's a couple of reserva series. apparently they are hard to find though...

Shawn,

My favorite regular cigar is the Ashton Vintage Cabinet #3 perfecto. Easy light, even smoke and nice, flavorful body.

I've got one sitting right here... but I mustn't smoke a cigar at nine in the morning. Next time I shoot maybe.

Before there was a magazine about cigars, I used to get the AF Chateau Fuente robusto for less than $2 a piece. A box of twenty was always in one of my humidors. Of which I have three.

Back in the 90s, I really did enjoy a fine cigar. Then it got stupid expensive.
