My newest video hvx/extreme

hated the song, very nicely shot, loved the voice sync on the slowmo shots, some of the shots
ouside are very very saturated and overexposed (I take it that is what you were going for)
only thing I did not like is towards the end you can see that the rapper has a lot of sweat on his face, looks distracting to me, very nice job overall congrats man :)
 
Thanks for the feedback. You were dead on with the saturation. The sweat was deliberate also. If you notice all of the other guys around him are not sweating. It in my opinion made him seem more emotional.

I like the song. I agree with the saturation, but all that takes is some color correction.

You've got to tell me -- how did you achieve the slow motion singing? Did you have him rap to a sped up version of the song and then slow it down in post? If so how much did you speed the song up and what did you shoot in -- 60i?

You would have to speed up the track twice as fast as its original speed, and set your camera to 48frames per second. Its really on how well the artist can stay in sync with the sped up vocal track to be honest.

i was planning on doing the same exact thing with my next hip hop video i'm gearing up to shoot. i was going to speed up to 2x speed and shoot 48fps so when you play back its in time with music at normal speed. I may not use it due to the fact that in the track the artists will be using they are already rapping at significant speed and the 2x speed is almost impossible to stay in sync with. it all depends on how fast the music is to make this look good. good job.
