The end of 35mm adapers and hv20s....

Yeah. That's what I mean. LoL. There's nothing around here at my apartment to really shoot, but to show the exposure lock and other stuff I just walked outside. As in, it ain't a big deal.

Still searchin' menus for shutter lock in D-Movie mode.

There has to be a way to control the jello effect. Many of the more professional footage don't have it.

Pan slowly.
Don't pan quickly while using a long lens.
Don't pan quickly while using a long lens with vertical objects in the shot
Don't pan quickly while using a long lens with vertical objects in the foreground of the shot.

We have to adjust to its limitations.

What about VR? Does the 18-105VR have a "Normal" and "Active" setting? For 2 axis high frequency stabilization, you want active. Normal kills the vertical shake but doesn't do much about horizontal (i.e. panning).

I have never worked with USB, only Firewire. Can you hook the D90 straight to your computer with the USB and record on PC rather than on the camera?

Handheld like "saving private ryan" or "traffic"...i normally like static shots, unless it really calls for it, but every now and then a shot like the opening one for "28 weeks later" is something i admire.

I haven't even broken out the VR lens yet. It's still in the box.

Alright, this is ridiculous. I've got friends waiting for me at the bar, and I'm extremely late. If I tell them why I was late, they'll think I'm a nerd and never hang out with me again.

I thought "1 minute" was about 60 seconds... Vimeo seems to think it's half an hour...
