The end of 35mm adapers and hv20s....

Sounds great Hunter. Very ambitious.
First, I just want to see all thoes questions answered at
different settings, lightings and motion by us here in the forum
with tons of examples.

After your Mini Filmfest.
Lets see a fully pimped out D90 contest.

personally, my concern stems from the fact that that even the people who have stated exposure is lockable, have not give us "locked" footage. believe me. beeeeeeelieeeeeeeeve me i want this to be solid because i'm likely shooting a feature with it during the first two weeks of october.

I have got good news for you Zak. Go back to the footage from Japan (inside the building) notice the flicker in the first few seconds. Then notice how he pans for the rest of the video. When he is panning past the white wall with the bright window in the back, the exposure doesn't jump at all (even though it looks 1+stop over exposed)

Watch it a few times and you will believe again!

P.s. Even though I have a red package, I am hoping to use a few of these to shoot a feature too in October...

Yeah, Best Buy, Ritz and Circuit City are all walking distance. I'm bringing a Flash Card, just in case I don't buy the camera....recording it and bringing it home and uploading. All at 8am the morning. Giving me a 3hr head start.

And if I get this and it turns out to what most of us hope for....Twilight will be filmed on this.....maybe...still gotta get the field recorder.
