Hey guys I'm the market for a shoulder configuration that will be able to handle my HVX with the Brevis adapter and Brevis rails system with a Totevision monitor and follow focus. Any suggestions? Is there anything from Cavision that would work?

Thanks
Mike

Angelcyk - it is very lightweight setup. Approx 3lbs for standard bundle.

Hot magma - drop me a line directly and we'll get your order sorted out.

Thanks again

Thanks Bvalente, I'm seriously consider getting the shoulder mount. Do you know if the Letus Rods V2 (or V1) Front Support Bracket will fit onto the rods of the Micro Shoulder Mount?

Angelcyk.... most everything in the industry is 15mm lightweight, 15mm studio, or 19mm studio rod configuration. The Letus Rods front support bracket will fit into any 15mm lightweight configuration. This means it'll work with Redrock, Zacuto, ARRI, whatever you like... so long as it's 15mm rods with lightweight spacing.

Therefore... yes the Redrock shoulderpad will work with your configuration.

Another quick question, Would I be able to fit the Letus Extreme and lens on the Micro Shoulder Mount Standard or would I need to get more lenght on the support rods. Also, it looks like it doesn't come with a camera support riser would I need to order that separately?

I was just about to ask this ?:dankk2:

I have been exchanging emails from one of the guys at Letus and this is what he recommends....
I would suggest ordering the Rods V1 support system in the 30cm + 15cm configuration. Although the Micro Shoulder Mount comes with support rods, I believe you will need the camera rise from the Letus rods in order to raise the camera high enough to allow the adapter to align properly. Basically you would be attaching the shoulder brace and handgrips from the shoulder mount system to the rods of the Letus system

So the question is, can I order the handgrips and shoulder pad without the rods that come with the Micro Shoulder Mount?

Yes, what he said again :)

There are actually many different ways you can configure the system - sharing the same rods as the 35mm adapter, a whole subsystem beneath it, etc.
