Name movies you never get tired of watching

[J.R. Hudson]

Oooh, NAVY Seals!

I just can't get enough of it. Campy, absurd, patriotic, unrealistic but so much fun !

Fantastic movie, but heavy.

I commend your ability to watch heavy subject matter multiple times. I'll take Schindler off the shelf once every few years.

A masterpiece in all sense of the word. :dankk2:

[Billy Pilgrim]

I should add Goodfellas and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

[Nathyn]

Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Good one. Like Mariachi better though for some reason.

I just can't get enough of it. Campy, absurd, patriotic, unrealistic but so much fun !

I'll see your Navy Seals with Chuck Norris "Invasion USA"! He knows where the bad guys are all the time and he round houses them or does something to them.

[BryantStanton]

There are many, but for some reason I'm drawing a blank, except for one, which always pops into my mind first when this subject is brought up:

The Big Lebowski!

[abraham]

anything Paul Thomas Anderson.
anything written by Shane Black.
almost anything with Paul Newman.
almost anything shot by Roger Deakins.
word.

[aramikvideo]

I've got quite a few but here are some that quickly come to mind:
"Christmas Vacation" - good for a few watchings every holiday season
"Independence Day" - not exactly plausible but fun with a cast I like
"Jaws" - the first one. A Spielberg classic with several enjoyable performances
"Spiderman" - all three. A fun movie to share with my daughters
"Rocky" - classic underdog story and a rousing soundtrack
I would also say the orig. Star Wars trilogy but the series loses more lustre with every new addition, animated or otherwise.

[Dingos8mybaby]

Gross Pointe Blank
Groundhog Day
Any of the Indiana Jones trilogy
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
My Fair Lady
Holiday
Grease
True Romance
When Harry Met Sally
It Happened One Night

These, and others, are literally playing on a weekly rotation in my dvd player. It's a good morning when I can have a cuppa coffee, play with the dog in the back and listen to Billy Crystal talk about the awkwardness of the 'white-man's overbite.
