Hi there, I have a Glidecam Smoothshooter with Glidecam 4000 and Varizoom lens controller for sale (with Iris Control).

I am willing to sell the lens control separately.

Everything is used but it excellent condition.

Smothshooter retails for $1499, I'll sell for $1200
Glidecam 4000 retails for $499, I'll sell for $350
Varizoom retails for $299, mine is an older model so I'll sell for $175

How old is the gear and what condition is it in?
Why are you parting with it? I am looking into purchasing this setup, but I am hesitant if you feel its a bad set up?

I've had it for almost 3 years. Its a tool that I used for about 30 days on a show that I worked on. Its in excellent shape, and I added a quick release (manfrotto) to it - which meant that I balanced the system once, made markers with camera tape and then every time I used it, it took no time to balance, or mess around with screws.

These days I'm mostly directing, and when I shoot I generally use larger format cameras (HDX 900) and the glidecam can't handle the weight.
