Selling my Canon A1, low hours, perfect condition. Includes all original accessories, one extra 8 hour battery and the original box. I also might throw in some protective UV filters.

SIDE NOTE EDIT: The tape deck only was used for about 10 minutes of footage in total. ALL shooting was captured directly onto a Firestore.

This camera has been babied since day one, kept safe in a pelican case and used for only two music videos and a short film.

Asking $2,900, will entertain offers. I'd prefer to sell to a local buyer (NJ, NY, PA, DE) as I'm not crazy about the PayPal methods.

I'm a long time member of this site, sold quite a few things around here and lots of people here can vouch for my credibility as being a legit dude.

Please PM me......

PS: The base plate shown in these pics will NOT be included. The Firestore and Pelican case are NOT included as well, that pic is there only to show where it has been stored.

Why are you selling this lovely beast? I would buy it if I had the money, surely I would. You have the Firestore too which I wanted.

I'm looking to invest in an HPX down the road and need to start putting some pennies together for it.

I love this camera and hate to see it go but hey.....

I'm about to put the Firestore up for sale soon too.

i didnt know that footage could be captured straight into a firestone...
woah, i was thinking of buying an HVX200 because of the P2 cards capability, but now... we'll see.... if by the time i saved up 3500~ ( guessing 2 months ) and hvx's dropped their prices some more.... who knows :P

Heck yeah, the Firestore/A1 combo is AWESOME! I highly recommend getting a Firestore if you have an A1 or plan on getting one. Tape sucks, logging/capturing ugh..... lol

btw, don't expect the HVX to drop anytime soon, at least drastically. It's still a strong point product for Panasonic even with the HPX coming out.
