all with one flash..... The thing that sucks about Canon's are that the higher end ones have no built in flash to trigger other flashes. so you have to buy 2 speedlights to effectivly have one remote... and they cost a bloody fortune.

What are some good tutorials for flash use? You guys are speaking gibberish! :)
There are tons of good flash tutorial videos in googlevidio and youboob, just type in some searches and away you'll go.

Nice shots Timur, I'm a fan of #1

Oddly enough i was there today.... and i have photographic proof!

EDIT:

Doh! you probably read my facebook thing.... yea yea they are coming....

Ok so im going for the ansel adams approach and trying to NAIL the exposures with small apetures and long shutter speeds. There is only photoshop on one of the images I HDRed the 1st one, other than that, Destaturation only, on the B&W images.

Went to the beach this weekend ... grabbed this quick shot and was glad after he didn't drop anything on me as he passed overhead :-Laugh(DBG)-1

lol :D thanks kegan.

but is this one of the girls you showed before? i´m not sure if i like her like the others.^^ and i´m not a big fan of that softening in the second.

still very kind of you. :)

Nope, different girl. I'll try to get you some of the girl you like. She's just recently gotten engaged, so she's been fairly hard to get a hold of. I dunno if I'm a fan of the softening either. I'll post without softening when I do my post of photos from later today.

you worked on this one, didn´t you? looks like a golden bird.^^

I modified it via PS CS3's RAW editor. I affected the color temp, exposure, and contrast. I then applied a soft-light gradient overlay to give some warmth to the sky and finally sharpened the image.

It was one of the brown colored seagulls.

Couple more:

I'll post the girl unsoftened in a couple minutes.
