Looking to buy a new camera. Which one?

I am looking to buy a new camera and am not sure which will best fit my needs and work flow. Any help is appreciated.

Currently I have a dvx100b and use a Intel Mac 2 ghz 2 gig ram. And I edited with FCP 6. I really want a to start getting into HD stuff and my budget right now is around 5,500.

So far I was looking at used hvx200, HMC150 or the Cannon XH A1. Most of the stuff I film is Music Video/Live events. And the events I film are 3-8hrs long so having to deal with p2 cards is pretty much out of the budget I assume.. Fire store would be my only option I think with the Hvx.

Also I am not completely set on these cameras so if you can think of another camera that may work better for me I will check it out.

Any recommendations? And thanks in advance.
 
If you are getting paid, p2 price point shouldn't be a problem considering you'll get a P2 card with the camera. If you need more, buy them and pay it off with the gig money.
