Earthquake LA - Teaser Pilot

Posted a 40 second teaser trailer yesterday... here is a 2 minute teaser pilot. The story as written has evolved a lot since shooting this, so the 40 second trailer is what I'll mostly be using to try and sell this, but I wanted to put this up and get thoughts

Not bad. Honestly, I thought it came off like a TV episode, which is what you might be going for. It didn't seem theatrical to me though.
The guy in black looked a bit creepy, not sure if that was intended. I also found it odd that he threw himself into the house. He was probably safer where he was.

Just my initial thoughts. Probably need to see more before judging.

TV Episode is a good thing - this is for an internet series :)

And guy in black is for sure supposed to be creepy. Very true about throwing himself inside, although if you weren't from a place that had earthquakes you might not react to one in the best of ways.

viewed the footage twice, once with and once without sound. it was quite convincing. liked it!
i didn't like the writing. Associated the writing more with comics. It interrupted the whole ambience.

Hi Nicholas,

Although five months late, I have to say I have found myself much confused about the overall mood or feeling that I should have felt while watching it. The footage suggested one mood - the actual mood to be followed by everything else - but the post-work can be said to have ignored it, by presenting a whole new mood that is considerably different from the original.

Besides, it looks good, convincing effects with the floor falling!

I liked it, although the guy in the grey T-shirt and the Blonde haired chick were the worst actors, everyone else was convincing enough.

Hope it works out for you.
