Warning: possible batman spoiler - fx question

I finaly saw the movie this weekend and I was trying to figure it out. It's one thing to add features to a face, but to eliminate like they did is incredible. They animated every detail. I am just completely awed by the work their CGI guy did.

I heard they had some sort of X-ray Maya plugin, kind of like a MRI device so they wouldn't have to do that much CGI.

It looked overdone- it didn't suit the "Dark Knight" world very well, unlike the Joker's make-up, for example.

I don't see what you mean. How would you change it? I thought it kept with the style. Instead of big puffy, purple scars, they completely eliminated they skin which made it more believe able. Of course, if it were more believable the eye would have been melted away too but you need that evil eye.

I completely disagree. I think it fit the DK world perfectly. It was morbid, and off. It wasn't clean or the same thing we've seen a thousand times. Much like the Joker wasn't the same old perfectly made up face.
Was this what you were hoping for:

I do see what Eastside means about it looking like the Mummy. Any idea what the next villian is going to be?

Actually aside from the eye, I don't know how you could imagine doing Two Face more "realistic". He was freshly burned so its not like youre going to have weird fleshy scar tissue or anything visible yet.

The next villian is going to be The Mummy actually. Nolan has already said that since that series is so awesome and "better than ever" he wants to do a crossover. I think it's a perfect match for the new trilogy.

you're not serious? I hope they don't use the same script writer in the mummy for that batman. Too lame
