What is this technique? How could I do this? (Casino Royal Opener)

I was just wondering what the technique is called for doing something like this from the James Bond: Casino Royal opener

and at 1:00 in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfc9GLxlhEw&feature=related

I figured its shot in front of a green screen and motion tracked. then the quality would be lowered in order to get the polygon lines. How would you separate the black and white colors on bond, and also the baddies have different colors.

I'm interested in just messing around and seeing if I could do something similar so if you guys have any ideas feel free to share them!

I'm relatively experienced with After Effects, I've been using it for about a year now.

Watched the clip and I belief the characters are 3d and they used motioncapture.
The clothing is too springy when it collides. Propably cloth and dynamics.
This was done in Maya , Max or whatever 3d app they used.
It could be done in After Effects and the effect would be called Extensive Rotoscoping.:Drogar-Smoke(DBG):

Side note :Now that u metioned this I just realise that James Bond movies where the first one to use motion graphics extensivley .There I go using that word extensively so extensively again.

The articles mention live action shooting of the stuntmen and Craig.

Hey guys thanks for the help. Looks like I'm going to be doing a considerable amount of rotoscoping in the near future. I'll post results as I progress on this project
